He said “We bought some companies just because they had a nicer user interface. But that's not enough.” Integration isn't working yet at SAP, he adds. “That's a fact, sad to say.”

Also, SAP has recently faced a lot of trouble as it was unable to offer the same security standards on all components. On this Plattner said, “That too showed the fundamental mistake: we have to have the same level of security in all the components.”
