Evosys is the preferred technology and thought leadership partner in the Oracle Cloud universe, and that drives us to do even better. When organizations move to Oracle Cloud, they get access to a range of world-leading solutions. These solutions are constantly improved through Oracle’s Quarterly Updates. Releases follow a quarterly schedule and are named sequentially; for example, the release for the first quarter of 2021 is 20A, for the second quarter it's 20B so on and so forth. In an effort to provide proactive knowledge that you can apply to anticipate, plan, and execute on these releases we've planned a series of informative Advisory webinars that expand on Oracle’s Quarterly Updates and what they mean for your organization.
Our first webinar of the Advisory series was very well received. We had:
300+ Attendees from across the globe participated in the event
95% attendees who found this webinar to be very useful
72% participants raved that this webinar session was a great value addition
Positive feedback on conducting a session focused not just on maintaining applications but enhancing them!
Some of our notable participants were Lambeth and Thurrock Councils from the UK and Hendersonville and Parkerlife from the USA
So what was so special about these sessions? Well, it was the breaking down of these quarterly updates into actionable insights and the know-how of leveraging them in your organizations that was most appreciated by the participants. Also, these webinar sessions are designed to be interactive and encourage dialogue which we translate into actionable feedback. After the success of the 1st session of the Advisory series for our existing customers, conducted in July, 2020 on the 20C update, we received feedback to expand the audience and make this knowledge accessible to all. Acting upon this feedback, the next advisory session in October, 2020 on 20D was held with external customers also and it turned out to be a successful global initiative reaching audiences far and wide.
Useful insights were shared on Finance, Global Human Resources, Talent Management, Workforce Management Compensation and Benefits, Payroll for the UK and US regions.
We believe that sharing knowledge verbally is not enough. Unless we implement a prototype, we wouldn’t really know whether a technology release in the form of an update is good for our organization or not. With this in mind, we offered test scripts to all our participants and offered troubleshooting assistance – everything free of cost!
All in all, we've had a wonderful experience hosting these webinars for you and hope to see more of you'll participating in our future sessions.
